After winning yesterday with this strategy during the news, I wanted to test out if this strategy actually works.
Since I was going to do it I wanted to take you guys along in the backtesting process, I tested out all Non Farm news events from 2023 and the latest one from 2024.
So we found out that the news trading strategy was profitable but only by 66.7% so it’s not the most accurate thing to rely on, but still interesting.

Let me know what you guys think, should I test it out on more news events since we only did it on one.
